Heh...I recall doing something like this last year just to see how good I was at it before entering an official pool. Started out well enough by correctly calling all of the first dozen games, then MSU fell to Nevada...I also recall nailing the first round of one of the regions, but Kentucky and Stanford losing just killed me. Finished with 43 correct picks out of 64 games...not sure how good that would have been in a real pool, though. That, and with Oakland getting in, means that all HELL is going to break loose this year. I think I'll stick to waiting until the field is announced, filling in my bracket and then sitting back to see how well I do, same as last year.
