Avatar Question

Well I have tryed searching around the forums to see if I am not the only one with this problem but I haven't seen anything so I will just ask here. Does anyone have a problem with being able to change or upload an avatar for your profile. I am tired of this normal avatar and want to change it to something cool but I keep getting Invalid File. The avatar is the correct size and I know I got it from my pictures file and so I dont see how its not working. Is it something that they need to fix in FFR or am I doing something wrong?

Oh and thank you all that have been helping revive FFR (Sprite, LD, Aperson, etc.)!!!
