Ahhh, alright, so you'll say the contradictory prophecies aren't meant to be taken literally, but the prophecies that did happen to occur ARE meant to be taken literally (hence your World War I argument, etc)?

Seems awfully unfair, don't you think? You're basically saying "Everything that fits my belief you should regard as literal truth, but anything that's contradictory is obviously just an allegory." You're shifting the goalposts, here.
