Well, I have a friend who lives in Denver. Her name is Whitney, and she has a friend named Steve. Her friend Steve is a hardcore hockey lover, and has been playing all his life.

Knowing the title to this topic, you should get the hint of what's going to happen.

My friend Whitney told me over AIM just 10 minutes ago that one of her best friends was in a hockey game when he got severely injured.

A different player was coming up to check Steve, and jabbed him with the hockey stick. This punctured Steve and it went right through to his liver, cutting it in half.

He could have died instantly, but he didn't. What a miracle. He is now going to be staying in the hospital for 3+ months.

Wow.
