I thought this was somewhat thread-worthy, so BAM, thread
the food thread, where food pics/drawings will be posted

Take picture of food (preferably closeups, and interesting composition(up to you))
Draw food from picture reference 8D

It is a delicious CAKE ......
bs top layer ?frills?
cake is 2hrs
piece of cake, apparently wasn't a piece of cake on ps
subtle lighting is really hard for me even though it is direct ref

not going for accuracy here, i know chocolate is disoriented, middle layer is thicker (because that part is FREAKING epically delicious, I would say it makes up about 125% of deliciousness)

subtle lighting practice
bs'd some lighting with what I thought might look nice on cake (moar shiny)
