And no, dude, one's thought process of sitting down and deciding to do something is irrelevant to a criminal act. If I walk into a store and decide on the spot to punch out the clerk and steal the money from the cash register, the fact that I decided to do so without premeditation does not negate the fact that I did it knowing that it was wrong to do it.
