Hookers and Blow

Ok, before someone put this in the DDR forum, this is an actual in-depth question. I don't want simple answers like," Because it's fun." Thats not an answer. Thats just a justification for playing it. The reason that I haven't stopped playing DDR is that this game has taught me to respect myself and to respect those who live and interact with me. Before I started playing DDR, I was in a 4-month battle with clinical depression. When I started playing DDR, it made me feel more special because it was something i could work to get better on. That was back in 2003. Now here are some of the things that happen to me now:
1. I became the 2nd place winner of a state DDR championship. 2. I now am more active and healthy to keep my endurance and speed up. 3. I am a teacher to literally 10+ friends in how to play DDR. Everytime I play DDR, I literally push myself to the limit. Why? Because its fun. Now I know that sounds contradictory because of what I said earlier, but what I really mean that its fun because its the one thing I know I'm better at than most people at. All my life I have always been the worst player in sports and always thought of myself as a nerd. Now I have people I never seen before, come up to me in the mall saying,"Wow! You're really good! How long have you been playing?" Now I don't think you know how special it is to have people say that to you, but those who have heard this know It makes you want to play your best, win or lose. So my question to you all is: Why Do You really Play DDR? Extra: Oh and Moogy, please don't act like an idiot on this topic.
