about a month ago, I got into large-canvass work. It's as fun as it is hard to make a really good looking design especially when you have more room to fill with effects and whatnot.
Breath of Life - It took me a total of about four hours. The effects in it were actually the easy part. What took me so long was fixing up the stock I used (Which, sadly, I don't have anymore). It wasn't originally blurred, or even as dark. I added a lot of shadows and colors and even blurs to establish a focal point and make it look more realistic. ![]() Free as a Bird - This one was also very fun to make. Originally, it wasn't going to be all vector, but I'm sure you all know how much we can stray from our original plans. I'm so glad I have ADD, or it wouldn't have come out like this. This was my first ever fully vector pieces. Vectoring the people took me about three hours. >.< ![]() Wall-e - I'm not sure if you would consider this a large-canvass piece, but I do. I made this shortly after seeing the movie with my younger brothers. ![]() The Exhausted Soldier - This was proably my most serious large piece. I made it to honor the troops that have been giving their lives in an unknown land to protect the people that they care about. It was originally a low quality picture with no focal, but I tried as hard as I could to make the scene very dramatic and almost tragic. ![]() GeekMaster6000 - The last, but certainly not least LP.. I made it for me. You know, as a desktop background. I'm currently using it as my myspace background, too. I'm a geek, and I'm willing to accept it. I think that this is my best large canvass work ever (Besides Breath of Life)![]() Constructive criticism would be apreciated. ![]() Last edited by Raging Inferno; 11-11-2008 at 11:29 PM.. |
