Conservative?
Holy ****! Oh and also, check out the unfairness of this. Green Party | NO SEATS | 925,825 Votes | 6.8% Independent | 2 Seats | 89,207 Votes | 0.7% Bloc Québécois | 49 Seats | 1,369,350 Votes | 10.0% Green has more than 10 times the number of votes that Independent has, no seats. Green has only 400,000 votes less than that 'Quebec is better than the rest of Canada' party thing, yet BLOC has 49 seats.... Canada is officially retarded. Edit: For USA ppl. Canada is split into about 308 separate voting areas. Each area, or constituency, has representatives for different parties. (Liberal, Conservative, Green, NDP. Do a google search on them.) So everyone in each constituency votes for the representative of their choice. The winner gets a seat in the House of Commons. If a party gets over 155 seats then they receive title of Majority government, which means they basically have full power over the government, any less and it's all equal grounds for everyone. (Mind you the more seats you have the better). The winning party is the party with the most seats. The leader of the winning party becomes the prime minister.
