No, no...if you've never played DDR or aren't all that good yet (still on Light or easy Standard mode) then get a soft pad and DDR Extreme USA. It's a great way to get the basic feel of the game without having to waste a lot of money at the arcade.

Of course, once you get to a certain level the home versions just won't cut it (unless you have a really good pad), and then you can own up the arcade.
