Default Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core (100,000 Credit + Cobalt Flux Grand prize)

Tass is right, however -- if you can cheat in one place, you can still cheat another. From what I know, Cheat Engine is a hex editor and isn't just Kongregate-specific. For me to overlook this would be foolish, but I don't wish to boot you out either.

However, your Planet Cruncher score of 1364390 easily puts you ahead of the current Round 1 scores, which is already fishy considering the circumstances. I don't think you cheated Musik Marathon because your score, combo, and position check out, and it's a really easy game.

I'm going to simply require that you supplement video proof for Missile Game 3D (the game is short and this shouldn't be an issue). Planet Cruncher there's no real way I can verify your score without a video, which would be insanely long, so I'm not going to care too much about that. For Onslaught, please include screenshots at Wave 50, 100, 250, 350, and 400. Since you say you have a really easy way to get 4000 kills, I don't feel that this is asking too much of you given the fact that we know you've used CE in the past. Going by word alone isn't sufficient proof and unfortunately this is the only reasonable way I can ensure the tournament is fair without simply removing players. I like to give people second chances, so I hope everyone plays fairly.

If you don't have a camera, please use Camtasia Recorder, which is free and quick to download, and it runs with virtually zero lag.

I apologize if this is inconvenient if all your scores are indeed legit, but for me to not request this of someone who has been shown to cheat elsewhere would make it easy for ANYONE to just walk in and cheat scores. It's nothing personal and I don't feel what I am asking of you is unreasonable at all -- if anything I think it's quite lenient. Anyways, that's where I stand on the issue! I hope you still enjoy the tournament, though
