Underage Lovers on the Run?!

This has been going on for over a week now. I dont know if anyone has linked or what, but ive been following the story.

The story takes place in Michigan.
The boy (15) is dating a girl (13).
The parents finally had enough of this.
They told the boy he couldnt date her.

-Now, at 15 years old, how would you react?-

That next morning at 4am, he grabs his xbox, family dog, and his christmas money (i think $500+).

Next he gets the keys to the Minivan!, picks up his girlfriend (who stole $100 from her mom) and away they go.

That was one week ago.

Moments ago, the girl called one of her friends and said that they were running out of money. The call was traced all the way to Nevada.

Are they seriously going to make it to California?!
