This might be a far-fetched suggestion, but you should try to get permission from video game music composers.
Composers I thought would be good for FFR: Motoi Sakuraba Kenji Ito Michiru Yamane (I think this is the homepage, but Japanese, so I can't tell) Falcom Sound Team JDK (Though, I can't really find somewhere with contact info)
