It is so lame and kiddy and stupid but it's so fun. Generally it's a game made for a younger audience but a lot of FFR people like ananana and Rynn and myself play it.
NeoPets is a free, online, web based game. A lot of you have probably played it before and if you haven't it's like a virtual pet site thing. Unlike SM or DDR or games you people can relate to me on, NeoPets takes nearly no effort at all and barely any of your time. That is, unless you're trying for the high scores on one of the games. And they have a lot of games, nearly all of their flash games are spinoffs of existing concepts so you will get familiar with them quickly. This isn't a game filled with excitement, but it's a GREAT time killer, and I know you people are all about killing time taking into account a lot of your post counts, total games played and signup dates. This game is very kiddy, I will not lie to you. But it's fun if you look past that. The online social factor is kind of cool too. This is a game that is very easy to pick up, you can play it casually and still get rich as hell on the game over time. If you want to join in with everyone, I will make a quick walkthrough with the signups since they try to BS you with a lot of stuff when you sign up. To go to the sign up page, click here. There is no age restriction like FFR, this game is open for all ages. "First and last name" is what will appear and your profile. I'm not positive if you can change it later but I just put Arch 0wl as my first and last name. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE GLOPHONE OR THE RETURN PATH THING. The amount of neopoints you get from that is extremely insignificant and overall will just piss you off. Don't sign up for any of the sponsor advertisements. Trust me, it's not worth it at all. After you're signed up you need to create a pet. All the limited edition/restricted pets are either REALLY expensive to get (you will not be able to get them for quite some time and by the time you're able to you won't want to) or you can't get them. There is no difference at all statwise on what pets you get. And even if you despise the way your pet looks you can just get a morphing potion and change the species of it later on. One thing I advise is to look at the pet colors because if you get a pet and find that the pet you chose hardly has any brushes at all you might get kinda peeved later on when you can't customize your pet at all, and customization is what makes things fun. Once you choose your pet you need to name it. I advise you to get creative here or use numbers or something because A LOT of names are taken. The information you put for your pet is useless, so you can just ignore that or have fun with it. Your choice, but it's really irrelevant. One of the things that you need to keep in mind is the stats that you get from the roll when you sign up are not final whatsoever. You can get these things called codestones and train them up, so like if you have say average movement speed you can train it up towhere it says "mach 3" or whatever. A lot of people from FFR play this game. A lot of people on my site play it as well, we even have a guild going. In a nutshell I'm not gonna lie to you, when I signed up my first impression was "Oh my GOD, what the HELL is this.. this is SO gay." but for some reason it was kinda fun. Over time I've gotten over the kiddy factor but at first it made me feel like a pedophile. |
