Pizza
Three guys are at a hotel, and they order a pizza. The delivery guy comes to their door, and tells them the pizza will be 30 dollars. So, each of the guys pay 10 dollars, making 30 dollars in total.
The delivery guy goes downstairs to the cashier to pay for the pizza. The cashier looks up and says "The pizza is actually only 25 dollars." The cashier hands the delivery guy 5 one dollar bills to make up for the over-charge. The delivery guy thinks to himself, "what am I going to do with this 5 dollars?" He then realizes that the three guys didn't tip him. So the delivery guy keeps 2 dollars, and gives the 3 dollars to each of the three guys. The three guys each paid 10 dollars, but then each received 1 dollar in return. So the three guys paid 9 dollars each; three times 9 is 27 dollars. The delivery guy kept 2 dollars. 27 dollars plus 2 dollars equals 29. Where the hell did that other dollar go? |
