ATTN: Site Scrubs (Warning - Controversial)

Members of FFR are given a wide variety of profile and chat features that cost us litteraly nothing. I mean, all things considered there are alot of things that are taken for granted.

However there are a few things that (and I'm not the only one who thinks so) have gotten a smidgeon out of hand.

OK. First on the chopping block... you losers who have had a profile forever, a million friends you'll never talk to after giving a thumbs up, and NO FFR/SIU/Trivia games played.

You know who you are.

Not everyone who votes for your profile wants to be your friend. Stop asking. Your profile is either somewhat decent to look at or contains something interesting to view or read (yay! Thumb's up) or contains nothing/is composed entirely of crap (GFKYSLF! Thumb's down!).

Additionally, we are not bound by any kind of blood pact to give you a thumbs up just because you gave us one. I've yet to give one (thumb's down) out, and normally just opt to not give one at all and avoid flaming later. Either give us something interesting to read or look at, or earn your merit in game. Kthx.

You're on FFR's little servers. Wanna play a game or two... hundred? Please? Last I checked MySpace was that-a-way. If all you want is to have some kind of wanker sizing contest with a large number in your "Friends" area full of people of whom you only actively speak to 6 or less... then your self-worth issues are far more punishment to yourself than any of this rant can give you, and you have my pitty.

Next up... chat.

It's a great little thing we have. So far the nice folks here have given us Profile Chat, Personal Profile Chat, Video Chat, FFR MP Chat, SIU and Trivia chat, ect. No matter how you slice it, there are a ton of ways you can get online, meet people, and enjoy a bit of conversation.

But can we brush up a bit on the "nettiquette (sp?)" please?

You know what's annoying and will probably get you flamed or booted? I'll give you a few examples.

As far as anything else is concerned, have fun. Talk about whatever-the-hell you want. You seen a monkey with it's thumb up it's ass? That's great. Tell us about it. Hell, get into detail.

I'm not targetting anyone in particular. And if this offended anyone, great. It can only be offensive to the demographic target of this rant, if you think about it.
