Jello != gelatine.
Gelatin(e) is the ingredient in jello that makes it jiggle. Gelatine is also used to make marshmallows, many chewy candies such as Starburst, Junior Mints, Skittles, etc etc... they use it to make things chewy, give it a smooth consistency, or make it jiggle. Basically it's a byproduct from the meat industry. Most anything they can't use for meat off the cow gets crushed up to make gelatine. Horrible stuff. Considering you can do the same things with plants, I'd never eat anything made of gelatine. You know those Hunt's Snack Pack jello pack things? Or basically any little jello cups that advertise themselves as not having to be refrigerated. Those things don't have gelatine! Yeah!! Good news for me, since I do like jello. It's also healthier because it doesn't expire as easily and doesn't need to be refrigerated...Eh enough of my rambling. I'm hungry. Sour Patch Kids are the bomb.
