FFR Player
|
Anyone who's tried flash in browsers in Linux will probably know that it's very slow. When I say slow, I mean the music is about 10 seconds earlier than the video. Yeah, that slow. This makes it pretty much impossible to play games like FFR. I heard using Opera helps, but not enough to make FFR playable.
I've searched websites online. Can't find a solution. They say it's a known bug that flash is extremely slow, and it doesn't appear to be something Macromedia is focused on fixing, goddammit. Tried some solutions that were said to speed it up a little bit.. adding a line to the browser's script file... Didn't do a thing at all. So basically this thread is for anybody who knows how to fix it, but mostly for me to complain. -_- Goddamn stupid flash being slow in Linux. I hate flash that way. I doubt there will be any solutions posted here, and probably some n00bs going "wuts linx?" but it was worth a shot I guess.
