Default How do I downgrade?

So, I finally chose to download the updates for WMP. Foolish.

After all the installation, it required checking my system to see if it was legitimate. Well, my computer was built by a guy many years ago, and I remember him using file sharing programs to get what we needed on here (it was the family computer back then), so I guess he didn't have a problem just using our other copy of XP on this computer, too.

So, WMP no longer works. As such, I want WMP 10 back. A rudimentary search turned up a version that "wasn't compatible with this operating system" or something like that.

As all my friends know, though, I'm absolutely horrible at finding things.

So, is there any way that I can downgrade my WMP back to 10 or download WMP 10 and install it over 11?

I just don't want to have to use Media Player Classic.
