Default Pokémon Story

Remember those days when Pokémon was still cool?

That was when there was 150.
At 250 it was ok....
Any more added and it turned gay.

Back when I was 7 or somewhere around that, two of my friends and myself started writing Pokémon stories. We would sit there for hours and write it... it was a lot of fun, but we don't do that anymore... no childhood memories have to stay put I suppose.

They both lost their stories, started new ones, lost them, etc. I don't know if they know where any of theirs are. I managed to keep mine, currently 94 pages all handwritten double sided.

Now I haven't written in it in about two years but last night I decided to write a few more pages... when I thought of something. I've been writing this over the course of 8 or 9 years, other than being just an interesting hobby, it shows how my creativity and literally skills have improved over the years, as well as neatness in writing.

For example, this was the first "chapter" written at about age 7.(spelling mistakes, grammer mistakes and all)

Code:
Scott, Heather and I ran down to the couch in my family room, and I turned on the T.V. "I hope it's a new Pokemon!"I exlamed. The title came on, "[b]POKEMON[/b]! I choose you! "No it's a rerun again!" I shouted I started jumping up and down mad, then I banged my headinto the sliding glass door. "Well that covers the door,"I said. Then I fainted. All a sudden the T.V. set exploded. "Uh oh, I hope that was insurred" Heather said. "Why?" Scotty asked. "Never mind!" Heather anwsered. Then a porthole appeared where the T.V. set was and sucked us all up without hesitation.
Notice how everything happens so quickly, just 3 random people appear out of nowhere, how you're expected to know the humour behind everything but you would really need to know what was going on in our lives to understand it?

Just a quick exerpt (sp?) from something I wrote last night on page 91. Eight or nine years later....

Code:
"And if that's not enough he figures that I would make a good back up player." Said a male voice.
"But you're meant for so much more than that." Now said a female one.
"Of course I am! These criminal mastermindds all think the same. They want initiative. So a few men down makes better for us."
I peered through the door window and saw two teens talking. Slouched over next to them were some high ranked looking Team Rocket members, clearly dead. It didn't look as if Pokémon had killed them either.
"Isn't that Rob and Emma?" James asked.
"Yes and it looks like they really are in charge of things now..." said Jessie with a shiver.
"Let's stop them!" I said turning the door knob.
The last comment by me is a bit childish but when I wrote the story at first I wrote it as I was the same age as myself in the book as in real life. So now coming back I wasn't sure how to make myself go from 8 to 16 in a matter of days in the story. In other words, I'm writing it as if I'm still about 8... *sigh* that's one thing I want to find a way to change logically...

Anyway, some people write journals to show how they improve but this is what I've done, at first it was just something to do to pass the time for fun but it has turned into much more than that.
