Aliens...

Me and my friend talk about aliens every once and a while..How they may hold secret powers and such, but my friend brought up an interesting question...are WE really the aliens? It could be the possibilty that we were the ones that wiped out the dinosaurs and such, its just that the public does not know about it. The government is known to keep facts from people...It might be a fact that we are really an aged long civilization that dates back before those dinosaurs yet Theres also a possibility we weren't from this planet....I heard on the news there was reported "water" or whatever on Mars so we could be from there... Or maybe even another galaxy..In basic, I believe us humans are aliens on this planet Earth, we had just wanted a better habitat than we have past lived so our ancestors moved here..
Suggestions and such would be appreciated.
