This story starts last summer. I was working at a theme park, where I was selling ice cream in one of those stands. The company had few employees, most of which were very fun to work with. To some, I didn't talk because I didn't feel like it, or because it was too awkward. Anyways, there was this one black girl I had to work with for a few hours (it was the first and last time I worked with her, not because I didn't like her, but because my boss decided to make the schedules accordingly). I didn't talk to her at all, except for anything job-related.
Now, about a week ago my friend told me he actually knew her. She told him she though I was racist because I didn't talk to her and it looked like I was ignoring her. This is what I have a problem with: People who accuse others of being racist because they were left out, mistreated or ingored. Most of the time, at least in most of the cases I've witnessed, it's the white people being accused. It seems it's just really easy to accuse others of such a big offense. It has a lot of impact too, and it comes with immediate hate when proven. I'm getting really sick and tired of this, because there is almost no way out. P.S. sorry if I'm not making much sense
