the spacers hurt WAAAAAAAAAAAAY more than the braces. not 50x worse, since it's easier to get used to braces, not rubber bands stuck between your teeth, more like 100x worse.

No. Wrong. Spacers do not hurt. It just feels like you have food stuck in your teeth for a week. They don't hurt. Braces hurt.
