Dangit, a little while ago I was tricked into a free trial subscription to TIME. I let it go for a while to at least make it worth it, and last week I finally got around to canceling it. And NOW, something I actually care about comes up.

That whole interview is up online already, as well as the scans. And scans from the latest EGM are out and they spell out some fairly significant things about Wii.

Any reaction to PS3 trying to copy Wii? (effectively only actually copying half of it, as it essentially has the same tech as the nunchuck attatchment has.)

Muskrat, don't try to act like Nintendo is SOOOOO innovative that everyone is trying to copy them. Copying other people is what happens in the industry. Deal with it. Depending on what I see over the next few days, I'll make my decision whether I buy a Wii or PS3 first come fall.

Looks like all he does is cover the screen, making it difficult for anyone to see what is happening. Kinda like when Togepi made everything black.

That black-out was a ****ing bitch. Here I am expecting something at least as useful as Goldeen or Wabbuffet, but instead I get blacked-out and the computer sees perfectly fine. Fortunately the black-out was pretty rare whenever I got Togepi. I usually just got the bright light that put people to sleep.

The Nintendog seems MUCH better because you can see the sides of the screen and you might get time to recover. But I wonder--how will it be "called upon"? Will you pick up a bone and it will just come to the screen?

Oh, yeah, I will agree RPG's are pretty low for Nintendo home consoles. Oh well, I'm personally not into them much (minus SRPG's and REALLY good RPG's).

And as for "hardcore genres", hahaha, as long as the generic FPS, GTA, and Final Fantasy crowds dominates mainstream gaming, good luck with that. Downloading games would allow for you to buy classic shmups and such. As for anything new... unfortunately, no. For any console. Last one I can recall is Geometry Wars for Xbox 360.
