Is it higher on arcade machines, though? That was the only time I haven't wanted to play on high-speed 1 on some songs. Well, Max300 of course, but some others as well that were sub 200 BPM. I'm not sure. Maybe everything on BM US is just slow. That and the screen size are probably the factors.

No, BM US has the same mods as 9th CS. It's missing the .5 mods from 10th CS, though. All newer styles, whether they be AC or CS, use the same HS mods, but Happy Sky introduced the .5 mods.

0.5 = 1.5
1.5 = 2.25
2.5 = 2.75
3.5 = 3.25

DistorteD introduced HS4.5 (3.75) and HS5 (4.0), which is very good. Hopefully those two will be on RED CS, along with Sudden+, to reduce towel usage. Not that I use towel anyway, but HS4 is just too slow on a lot of songs.

This game is getting more and more fun. I'm running out of difficulty pretty quickly in the game, though, aside from the really, really hard stuff I won't be able to do in quite some time.

Ok I'm now at the point where I'm about to move over to 7K Normal now. Beginner has gotten way too easy except for a few wrongly ranked songs. If I can get my PS2 modded, I would import IIDX in a heartbeat.

If you have a spare harddrive lying around, or as much money as you claim to have ($200), I'd say your best bet would be to get an HD-loader. It'll save you money on DVD-R's and the hassle of keeping up with them. It's also pretty uninvasive as far as mods go.

Yeah, moogy is probably right, I'm just paranoid after my retarded friend opened up my ps2 to fix a semi-broken cd drive and ended up breaking every single ribbon cable in the damned ps2.
