lol my mom always made me rewrite shit again and again until it was 'pretty' and I thank her. it really made my versatility in handwriting blossom. my typical handwriting is what I posted but I like doing intense cursive and clear concise print, and everything in-between. the most important things are control and flow, if you don't get those down you'll either be too slow or all over the place or both. i normally keep it at a happy medium. you can get extra pressure and control if you experiment with holding your pen.

also, pen is much easier for me. pencil smears and I only use it if I have to. perhaps less stress is put on penmanship these days but really some people's writing is just inexcusable (yall chicken scratchers)

Side note - I tried out myscriptfont and it is definitely fun (need a scanner or a good camera (may work)). It's missing a few characters like ^ `and _. Otherwise, it's fun to type in (a version of) your own handwriting. =P
