Man, why do you people have to be so ignorant some times?

He posted something that he was proud of, isn't that what this board is intended for? He even said that it wasn't supposed ot be something to gawk at. He was just happy that he completed something that was difficult to him for the first time.

Not everyone is "uber-1337 d4nc3r" like some of you on this message board seem to think you are. I know that I wouldn't have been able to pull off what stratos did, and I think it's pretty damn impressive from a (my) newbie point of view. Cut him some slack and lay off.

Anyway stratos, congrats.

I think people wouldn't have been as mean if you'd said you were on life 1 from the beginning. Most people cosider any life 1 pass not a legitimate pass and the fact you didn't say it from the beginning would indicate you were trying to pass it off as a legit 4/4 pass.

Not saying you were trying to decieve anyone, that's just how I think it may have come across to some or most people.

If you come up with a pass score thats L1, off course it's cheating. What don't you understand ? The Lifebar is all that matters on a pass, and you made that easier. Dumbass

What people are saying here is: you didn't really pass the song. To pass a song means to pass it on Life 4 or higher, and you didn't.

And comparing it to FFR is silly, FFR's lifebar is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too easy, to the point where you actually CAN pass stuff without looking at the screen (I've done it)

This is just a really socially awkward situation. stratos, J4/L4 is the default for StepMania and the standard that the community goes by. If you post a score played on something other than that, you need to say so. Akuma, you're overreacting, among others.

Boos do quite a bit on Life 4. Aside from that, goods and boos are combo breakers because you lose any combo you have if you get one.

I'm pretty sure Glove was referring to a much more educated type of mashing. It's basically hitting the arrows you see without a real consideration for rhythm.
