Best Credit/Time Song?

I realize that some of this depends on how well you can actually do on a song, but I am trying to get my level rank up, but it is hard with 4 songs unlocked and some more secret levels to work up to, so any ideas on some good songs to really push it up fast?

I am capable of passing every song and my current level rank is like.... 1680, so I can handle pretty much anything decently.

anything that gives you 25 credits for the fc is good

It really depends on what you're capable of.

The best credits:time ratio in the game is Flight of the Bumblebee, which will give you 24 credits in a mere 1:09 of gameplay--but only if you full combo it, which I doubt you can do even once, let alone many times in a row.

Basically, the faster the song is, the larger a credits:time ratio it has. Just play the fastest song you can full combo and you'll get credits pretty quickly.

EDIT: And Tora isn't really right. You can play Max Forever a whole lot, but it'll still only give you 25 credits for 5:44 game time, which is pretty crappy really, not much better than some of the game's easier songs.

Yeah FotBB is actually my weakest song in terms of level rank. I just CANNOT seem to get above 7000 ranking on it and it is driving me crazy. I'm decent at stream, but I can't hold a combo out at all. Oh well, hmm I'll look for some hard/quick ones and see what I can find.

actually the easiest way to get credits is just to log off and steal the credits from the anonymous ID...

FFR shop transfer credits :P

You need a combo of 700 to get 25 credits (yes?)

You don't need to FC a song, just get that combo then fail the song. Whichever song gives you 700 arrows fastest (that you can hit) is the best credits/time ratio.

But it would be better to go for 24 credits, since the 25th one takes far more points than the 24th one does.

That would mean getting a 775 combo with all perfs.

So the fastest way to gain credits, in theory, is to hit the first 780 or so arrows of FotBB perfectly, then fail. This would give you 24 credits in under a minute. 8)

well, a way i got 5 or so credits in 30 secs, is to do Libertine until you get a 100 combo then die, and repeat. it works.

five? it's easy enough toget 24-25 credits on a decently hard two-minute song, which is a 20% higher yield and wastes less time selecting songs.

I would only assume that shash's new song is now the best for gaining credits fast. Also works for points as well assuming you can combo it...

FotBB is still faster, techincally, although Exciting Hyper is second.

how fast is hyperspeed.. depends if it's above 400 then it's a record.. but shash for now you're wrong.. Caprice is the fastest at 400 bpm

edit: FOTB is 398bpm

hyper is 180 16ths. caprice is 400 8ths, fotbb is 398 8ths. aka, 200 16ths and 199 16ths. Balloon Fever is 192, although the stuff in the beginning isn't 16ths. It is 12ths.

hyper pressure != exciting hyper highspeed. We're talking about EHHS, not HP. HP isn't nearly as much as other songs.

You also have to look at what you can do and can't do. Just because you (shash lmao) can get 775 combo on fotbb doesn't mean everyone can 8)

When I needed credits I just played easy songs like Delirium and CIA Rave until I got a miss and restarted. I didn't get 25 credits every time (because I wasn't good enough back then) but it went fairly quickly.
