I made an important discovery last week: The heavy difficulty is fun.

That file is fucking gr8.

I'm pretty sure when he was talking about complex files of yours he meant Counting Snow.

Guys...he didn,t mean BS files he meant files which are technical...like Duk's Return of Salieri which has 128ths and same with Snow05..he enjoyed those I think

Also Toph's Nemesis had alot of 32nds and 24ths in it...

DTM's Winnipeg, Passage D, Powerbook, even FotS had tricky structures

It's obvious that he means interesting sims that are difficult but not stupid

J'ai Envie de Plaisir X2 has 32nds, stops, and a BPM that goes from 141 to 283. How is this file not complex?

If he wanted a retarded file he'd put OML on 1.8x music speed or something...

Speaking of music speed changing, WiFO or Black Lawn Finale sped up would probably be something akin to what Nima asked for :/

There's a lot of sarcasm in this thread that seems to have been missed completely.

whatever

if nima is looking for a complex sim he should check out J'ai Envie de Plaisir X2

however, if he is looking for a technical sim he should check out Tear's sim Excite Bike (even if it is a little on the bs side lol)

Someone should step one of Yes' songs, they've got some pretty innovative rhythms. And crazy keyboard solos.

the thing is

what sounds like a crazy or innovative rhythm in a rock song

turns into mush compared to some of this shit in electronic music.

so yeah rock/stuff is hard to work with.

I tried, twice.

I failed, twice.

Within the first 30 seconds of the song.

ps I saw them live they were awesome.
pps You rule for liking progressive rock
ppps If I ever figure out the time signatures and tempos for Bitches Crystal by ELP you guys will have a complex awesome sim with a saloon piano solo woo.

@Duk - I don't know how much you've heard of Yes but songs like Sound Chaser have very complex rhythms that would make very interesting simfiles EVEN in comparison to electronic music. And some IDM doesn't even seem to follow much of a rhythm.

pppps rofl an egg file would be hilarious.
