Wow, that made no sense at all, since I could perfectly understand the "language" you were speaking in before. Hey, you know what, do something productive instead of purposely trying to start an argument with me. Moron.

Yey, I'm one of the few females around! I aspire to have a character too!-- oh.. wait.. my avatar is already based on an existing FFR character. Oh well..

In any case though, I personally think that having characters for forum users would be interesting, but not too useful as it'd be including a character that only that forum person will really use. Then again, I could be wrong, maybe the thousands of non-forum peoples would enjoy having the same character as a random 'famous' established forum user.

A better idea, as has already been mentioned, would be to customise your avatar to suit you. Maybe something like those paper doll things, where you can choose a face, hairstyle, eyes etc. to get the character you want. Maybe you could unlock more pieces of random character 'objects', just because it's more of a novelty that way? If not, I think that at least the characters themselves should be unlocked.

Or the default ones could be kept, and the forum user ones could be unlocked, or something.

But that's basically what you said anyways.

I've been thinking about taking a picture of myself. But my stupid sister keeps telling me not to waste the digi cam's memory.

Another random idea I just came up with from seeing my avatar too much..

How about colour edits of the original characters?

Arch this is the best rationale you mentioned. It would be so cool to see more intelligent posts on here and less flame-warring. Another neat aspect of this is this: no one sees the avatar you pick except you, unless you post a screen shot. So it would be cool to see who respects you when people place SS's.

The only real thumbs-down I can think of is that you'd have scores upon scores of newbies asking "Can you put my picture in it?" But I think it's a very good idea, and I hope it gets implemented soon.

Well first we'd need to get the same artist who did all those characters to do replicas of all the posters on that list which would take a few months...

Yeah. We're talking 7 per person (assuming it's AAA, AA, A, B, C, D, fail - I'm not sure exactly how many pics per character are in the game now) x 18 people in your list = 126 drawings. And we'd need an artist who would be willing to do more after new ones get appointed.

I know a few people who can draw... if they couldn't get the original artist I'm sure they would be willing to do it.

Or maybe you could buy the characters, and it would show their picture, and all that.

Like for instance (although this would be the prices I would WANT us to be...)

Prices vary from popularity, skill, how active they are, if they make simfiles or not, how new they are, and position on staff. This also includes staff on my site

Of course you know, the characters would be available to themselves (i.e. moogy gets moogy automatically, reach gets reach automatically, etc)

Moogy - 250 credits
plasmix - 250 credits
Sinjin - 250 credits
Mwerp - 250 credits
MEGAginge - 500 credits
Freak83 - 500 credits
Scorpio - 500 credits
ROCKETs - 500 credits
Yanah - 750 credits
Soujiro - 750 credits
SotN - 750 credits
Hikki_Fan - 750 credits
MikeyFox - 750 credits
QreepyBORIS - 1000 credits
Hyro - 1000 credits
Reach - 1000 credits
Arch - 1000 credits
Volkov - 1500 credits
Jewpin - 1500 credits
87x - 1500 credits
Nestlequik - 2000 credits
Synth - 3000 credits

17,500 for the whole set, Arch. When you consider people would rather spend their credits on new songs once that feature gets implemented, I think your prices are a bit steep. I'd recommend you cut all of those prices in half. I wouldn't even think about buying a special character until all of the new songs had been purchased. And given from what we've heard from nestlekwik, I bet some new songs will cost several thousand points. (Pwnd, anyone?)

Nah, synth said most songs will cost about 250-500 each. Besides, characters are something you go for when you have all the songs. And I don't expect everyone to get every character, it's something for people to save up for when they've already bought all the songs, a reason to keep playing.

And...one question, Arch0wl. ROCKETs hasn't posted anyting in like...forever. Barely anything in the past couple of months actually...why is he even on there?
