OMG!!! I hate how easy it is to get perfect...

It took me forever to master all the songs I used to play, and now, I can get straight perfects on them, and many other songs I was nowhere near getting even close to, without any trouble at all.. I worked for hours on end getting my high score up on the CellDweller - Stay With Me (Unlikely), and now, with virtually no stress, I can get straight perfects with ease, which I could never do before.

I honestly believe that the perfect system should be toned down.. I'm not even that good at this game, and believe that it should have been made harder rather than easier..

Honestly, I think they should make a hard version and an easy version..

That would be awesome, something like once you can FC a level, you unlock a tighter timing system that gives you twice as many points for perfects, but it's twice as hard to get them or something.

The perfect is the way it should be.

They could add marvelous timing though. But the old perfect was retarted.

It's called "they made the timing system onbeat".

The old system was totally fucked.

I'd really like an easy version and a hard version... make one much more precise timing.. or at least let us play the old one.. I do try harder songs.. but, I do like trying to master easier songs.. which I hadn't ever done before.. and know it's ridiculous... I used to get majority "Good", second to "Average", which was third to "Perfect", now it's "Prefect" to a miniscule "Good" with an almost non-existant "Average"... Now you either rock on a song, or you suck on it.. there is no in between..

That sounds cool.. and btw, I like that song.. I do play harder songs.. I just can't get anywhere near even hitting every single one in one straight combo.. I always make one mistake.. but with the new "Boo" system.. I think I can make it a bit better.. I like the "Boo" things, I just want something that's REALLY hard to hit, or a hard version. Marvelous timings sounds awesome.

And easy and a hard mode would be fucking stupid. The old timing was so offbeat it's not even funny. The good window practically overrid the perfect window because it was so large, because a perfect was like above a marvelous, and good was like.. a great. It made no sense at all.

Stop bitching and deal with it, since it's CORRECT ANYWAYS, dumbfuck. You're ranting about something that should've happened that was a huge gain rather than a loss. The change made GOOD players good, not who has a 300 mhz computer and who can flashhack.

My opinion.
The timing system is good. If you get straight perfects on a level, you should go to a higher level. If you change the timing, you make levels that were once supposed to be for "novice" players, wont be for "novice" players anymore. This isn't about ourselves. This is about the community. We are all here and so we all need to lighten up. You people are getting a free service, mainly this game, this forum, and this radio. I think you people need to be more greatful to the man who is dead tired, instead all you people do is be combatant against the newbies.

I think alternate stepfiles are still being considered for Remix, as I really like that idea. But it would take awhile to get the stepfiles done... I'd rather they fix the off-beat/buggy songs first... anyways I think this is better than just changing the timing effects.

Also, I think the Marvelous timing would be a good idea, and they could have that set up as the Perfects were on the last game, Perfects were really hard to get in the older versions.

Or just download the .43 version in the Download section of this site and play the older songs with the older timing to your heart's content.

I like the new timing effects just the way they are now. A lot of ppl complained about the timing before the sudden massive .64 change and wanted it more like DDR and now it is. Enjoy the change, and once again, if you don't like the change so much there's also SM and FFR v.43 d/l.
