from my limited experience, if he's anything other than vanilla town, he will usually posit a lot of counter-questions and talk a lot less.
i.e. if someone asks him a question he'll be impartial and say "i really don't know... what do you think?" or outright ask people questions instead of giving out information himself

Why wouldn't any wolf take an easy push to establish scumhunting points early on with a target that is being extremely questionable and the push is then easily justified?

1) star was town for the majority of our games
2) she's played one bad wolf game and one good wolf game, so I don't have a meta on her wolf game
3) anyway, I think she's town
4) however, I think she would do this as a wolf

this is literally nothing.

I feel like it had to be a genuine sticking point that bothered them to the point where they wanted to post it even knowing it was a stretch.

I read this as you being condescending as a way to get bug to stop thinking of you as a wolf out of shame or embarrassment. "Your read on me is so stupid a wolf would be embarrassed to give that read publicly."

The mindset behind this post feels like you're trying to intimidate a light scumread on you by insulting their intelligence.

this is a good interaction on star's end. "I'd like to hear from him as well" is a really weak sentiment when you yourself have done nothing to advance the game forward. "I'd like to hear from him" is a cop-out play like 50% of the time

He asked specifically if I thought she could, so context matters there.

The context being both my history with FFA and our own dynamic and trying to get where he's at

He was (on the surface) assuming star was town based on his not seeing her and Haku as w/w based on the assumption Haku was wolf. I told him things weren't so simple and don't solve based on a non-flipped assumption of Haku.
His response was that it wasn't about Haku but about him. That when he called out Haku and she jumped on it he didn't think she would be pushing Haku like that to pocket FFA.
My response was basically that it's not about pocketing him and to see beyond himself, that the game doesn't revolve around his read. I did that by explaining other motives thru a rhetorical question.
he then took the rhetorical question and answered in the negative and then literally asked me if I thought she would do it as wolf.

So yes the post you called nothing explained our history, but that history is the context to understanding my answer.

You should be able to see that. Hell, I've seen you see more than that. Don't tunnel on me here if you're town please because you have no legs to stand on and can be an asset when you're using your brain
