First day phases are a conglomerate of silliness, memes, pointless banter, and meta reads (like WV's). Basically approach this phase with a Sieve and you'll be one of us.

Metareading is knowing how the player plays the game, thus you have an established meta on them (usually as certain alignments) and it can give you perspective on reading the player, in my own words.

As the example we have, Funnygurl typically votes T-Force whenever they're in a game first, and if she doesn't, she's a "wolf".
