Gradiant vs Freez is a nice interaction that has made Gradiant look really town in my eyes. Freez is way more difficult to read in comparison. Shado vs inDheart reads like a TvT. I was initially giving town points to Shado for pressing on inDheart who was almost universally town read, as it seems like a risky move for a wolf to take, but Shado is probably ballsy enough to do it as either alignment. Regardless, there was some sound logic on both parts and I feel okay giving both of them townleans.

Precarious vs DBP was utter shit compared to those two previous interactions and I really want to talk more about it.

To summarize what happened, DBP came and gave Precarious a vote because he wanted him to post reads instead of mechanics (#282, #284, #286, #288), and Shadow also places a vote on Precarious, increasing pressure. Later, Precarious says he is working on reads and that he wants to see DBP's, while saying that posting mechanics is his playstyle and implying it's not a good reason to vote him (#365). Then, DBP responds to Precarious' previous post, and again tells him to produce reads (#381). Afterwards, Precarious gives a read post (#388), and then accuses DBP of feigning activity and being empty, and places a vote on him (#398). DBP and Precarious proceed to spar for a little while, until in post 433 DBP says he'll respond to Precarious' previous posts later, which he doesn't after coming back. Precarious comes back earlier today and casually unvotes DBP without giving any reasoning or followup (#601).

I have some stuff that I want to say, but before that I would like to know why Precarious and DBP decided to abandon their fight.

Anyways, I'll start writing up my thoughts regarding the interaction, because they'll probably have some value regardless of what DBP and Precarious say, and because I'm very slow at typing stuff in this game. I apologize for being absent for so long, I was legitimately physically feeling like shit through most of yesterday and today.

I'm tired and I've fallen behind but the short answer is I didn't feel like it

I think you're overestimating your rationality, slightly. If you were actually objectively rational, your entire spat with mellon so far would've ended after you each posted once, after she noted that her disagreement wasn't with applying logic to reads, or studying mechanics, but that it was with only doing so. Reading your exchanges so far actually made me put down my phone for a moment, because you're both just repeating the same point over and over again. "I like logic! Gut reads are bad!" "Logic is good, but gut reads are good too!" "But gut reads are bad, stop hating on logic!" "logic's fine, but gut reads have uses too", etc etc etc..

Can we, for the sake of my sanity and the progression of this thread, please agree to drop that conversation entirely? Mellon, this goes for you too. I think you've both beat your respective dead horses.

In moving forwards, could the two of you please redirect your energy onto sharing your reads on who you find scummiest at the moment? I'd prefer a full reads list, but I understand that that might be asking too much for your busy lives. As a matter of fact, I think everyone should do that as soon as they get a chance, as I won't be around for EoD and I would hate for it to be another godawful clusterfuck. Let's get some organization up in here.

Also, Precarious, the rest of the post I've quoted in this was great. It shared your thoughts, on both ideas and people, without coming off as robotic or overly objective to the point of eliminating subjectivity. You have to remember, subjective agendas are primarily what we examine in finding wolves, so kindly do continue to post in this manner.

What's changed is that I'm liking DaBackpack a lot less now. Ironically, the cause of the shift in my read of him was inDheart calling me out on basing a read on nothing but a mindmeld. I re-read his posts, and while I still agree with the majority of judgments he shared (freez, Gradi, precarious at the time), I realized he hasn't actually done, either, other than make those judgments and push semi-lazily on Precarious. He also said he wasn't putting effort in, but that he'd provide a reads list in his next post, then proceeded to post about other stuff until now. Even now, he came into thread tonight to remind us that he's got some "hot fresh reads" for us in the morning. I don't like this, and it seems as though the laziness in his posts may be attributed to a wolf DBP posting a bit and half-heartedly a player, in an attempt to differ from his wolf-meta. This is WIFOM, though, so I'm wary of placing too much faith in it. Still, he's on the table for me until those reads are up like he promised.
I'm liking botchi more after coming in and posting, but that's just off memory right now because nothing seemed suspicious to me there. Not much actual contribution still, but he's trolling in a genuine manner, and that seems like normal botchi to me.
Roundbox I'm liking less, because he's had plenty of opportunity to come in and post, and he's posted at various times that showed he was at least semi-up-to-date, but he still hasn't bothered to do any hunting at all. That's either extremely lazy, or.. well, probably just lazy, but I like him less for it. The couple of contributions that stuck out were randomly declaring people town, and then at some point reminding us that the SK is out there. I refuse to read into his SK-reference, because it's just so much WIFOM, but yes he needs to get off his ass because he's on the table for sheer willful inactivity at this point.
I'm liking Freezin even less now that some time has passed and he's posted some more. I can't help but see a dissonance in his posts with stated intentions, tone, and actions throughout this entire phase.
mellon and precarious are both still undecided, but their exchange was so mindnumbingly repetitive that I couldn't help but think them both town for it, because I think wolves would start reaching for dirt to sling after the third post of the same argument.
I also can't wait for Zenith to get in here and start posting, because that slot needs to start generating some content.

If EoD were in 30 minutes, the players on the table for me would be inDheart, Freezin, DBP, and roundbox, but not necessarily in that order. Botchi and XelNya should both be on there in terms of actual contribution alone, but I'm hesitant to lynch either of them D0 just for trolling, because that's consistent with their respective personas.
