I haven't gotten through everything someone want to give me the short version of why people seem to really not like plop? I read his posts and didn't really see anything in particular that stood out. I mean I saw the mention of dbp possibly being the takedown wolf but I've never seen a game where the roles were known from the PMs.

Town isn't going to want the final vote to be a blue role. So if there was going to be discussion as to who should take the fall I feel like it could have given clues as to who has a blue role or even end up having someone straight up claim depending on the person.

If the wolves didn't know each other's roles why would that make it more or less incriminating?

Plop calling out the takedown? If the wolves don't know the roles it couldn't have been a slip is all. I just didn't see what stood out on plop but thought I saw someone say something about him calling out dbp being the takedown and was wondering why.

Well if he is a wolf and he doesn't know his team mates roles it would seem more incriminating because it would be like he was trying to send a word of caution to his team.

If he does know his roles it feels less incriminating, but the specific instance of him saying he would vote DBP and not doing that makes this scenario somewhat incriminating given the circumstance.

If he is a human and just presciently guesses that the guy who IS the Takedown wolf is the takedown wolf, it's just a fucking bizarre sequence of events because he didn't think about anyone else in the thread??

Well I mean human or wolf ending up guessing it right is kind of just luck imo. Unless for some reason this game the specific roles of each wolf were given out to them, but I've never seen that happen so far.

If you are a wolf and it appears that the town is going to kill one of your team mates, it is usually optimal strategy to have some wolves join the wagon, except in the case where you might be the last wolf on the wagon and you would lose two wolves instead of one.

Imagine your a wolf and your fellow team mate is dying to the lynch, and your team has mistakenly put distancing votes on the lynch early. It would be pretty goddamn fucking suspicious to suddenly change targets as a team to a new lynch.

Especially when you are considering using your roleblocker and your night kill on the same target. The wolf team suddenly pulls a Chinese fire drill on someone other than DBP who has had momentum for pages and pages, the seer obviously seers DBP, and your network of associations is laid bare.

No, you triage. But you want to make sure not to fuck up your triage and lose two wolves. What if you lost your rokeblocker? The crystal mirror would then effectively leave you with one wolf left on day 2. So, you triage carefully.

So you mean basically reminding the team that there is a takedown wolf out there so don't be the last to vote. Makes sense.

I think storn is human at the moment, but the suggestion to have that discussion is almost always anti-town, so I understand your thought process.

Still, put plop's posting history under a magnifying glass and see what you find.
