Okay so i was sick of FFR about 30 minutes ago and i decided to mess around with the settings to make it a little more interesting. I put it on sudden, where the arrows appear like 2 inches before you have to hit them. The first song I played, FFR Evolution, was unbelievable. I got more perfects than I have ever gotten in my entire life and I kept a decent combo going. I went on to play some more songs and the amount of perfects I got was insane compared to what I got before. I even set some new high scores. Can anyone explain this to me, and maybe even give me some tips on how to do this well without sudden on? I know I'm not a great player I'm still learning the ins and outs of this game, but this is a HUGE improvement for me. Here are some screenies with some cute little captions under them:
![]() My first time playing on sudden, couldn't believe how many perfects I was getting. ![]() In my opinion the best of my scores, never done anywhere NEAR as well as this. ![]() Couldn't believe how well I did on this. The 217 combo is from the very beginning of the song, and I never combo that part. It was so much easier to read the fast notes on sudden. ![]() New high score. Least misses I have ever gotten on that song. ![]() Not my best combo ever or my best game miss-wise, but I blew away my previous record for perfects. ![]() First time ever comboing until the crazy chaos at the end. Again, insane amount of perfects for me. A new high score. ![]() Just like Uber Rave, I easily combo'd the kinda quick beginning part on this song, and got a lot of perfects for my standards. Another new high score.

First off.... NEVER USE BMP FORMAT
Second.... Your links are all screwed up.. take a look: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...om/silence.bmp .. Okay, now you fixed them. :P Third.... Sudden makes it seem like it's faster scroll. Faster scroll=easier to read than the FFRs normal C300. |

Okay how about one of you gives a serious answer and quit the bashing? Sorry Tosh but it's new to me. I'm not going to search the forums for 25 minutes before I post a new topic just to make sure no one has done it before.

lol.
Okay just someone seriously answer this question for me. In Uber Rave sudden, why is it so easy to read the notes in the beginning, but it's so hard to read the beginning notes when it's not on sudden? It doesn't really make sense to me. If I can read the notes on sudden shouldn't I be able to read them normally?

As I said in posts before, it's faster, and you aren't pressured by all the other arrows, making the song seem much easier.

i think it depends on more where you look, if you look normally where they start appearing (during sudden) then your not pressured (like tosh said) by the other arrows. It seems harder for me, i guess cause i look alittle farther up(down for you guys, i play with the orientation down) the screen there.

Here is how you play as well without Sudden:
Put a piece of paper blocking the bottom half of the screen or zoom in with Opera so that you see only half of the screen
