Just chiming in really fast -- how much are you paying for your sensors, Mollo?

too much... 12.00 € each + 21% tax... for a whooping total of 14.52 per sensor
they proposed me some import sensors for 6.05 each but they say these sensor have a faster decay. If you know ways to get them for less it would be awesome, if not i'm seriously cosidering making them on my own (and it will be one hell of an ordeal to make a sensor from scratch)

$1000 for a pad like that would be an amazing deal honestly. It's a better alternative to paying $6000 for a dedicab.

€14 isn't great, but it's a lot better than most prices honestly. |

Can you make a video of you using it? I think that would give a better idea of how sensitive the pad is and its performance characteristics.

Okay, fuck delays! Shit's almost done! Tested it today and it works wonderfully, i am really excited
I'll bring it to a videogame/anime con towards the end of the month to get it throughly tested. In the meanwhile i'll focus on final retouches. Here's the progress until today! Oh, by the way. Do you like the custom arrow design i made? the structure is pretty much ready, two horizontal wood planks are there only to raise the plex so i could take a pic ![]() ![]() time to connect the sensors! ![]() pad closed again but with sendors ![]() closer up ![]() and now... DECALS! ![]() ![]() up view ![]() almost getting there ![]() ![]() closeup of the arrows ![]() See how fucking raised they are hooly crap <3 ![]()

Awesome, I was already wondering about how this project was progressing. Very impressive. I hope the final testing will yield positive results!

that looks absolutely incredible, hoylfok
i would spend $1000 on one, no joke i think it needs a bit more recession (a very small amount) though. it looks like it would be pretty easy to accidently actuate. Last edited by Fission; 09-14-2013 at 06:04 PM.. |
