i got my first real skillboost on this thing
like when i joined back in i think 2008, i was using the regular old dell mechanical and i though getting FC on CIA rave was like insane. played for about 5 months when i first joined, then took a ~4 year hiatus, and i came back last september, boosted a little bit, then 8th official came and RUWfHBfASWRNfHOA i skillboosted like fuck (like high d2 to mid d4)

it baffles me that some people can get good at 4key in ffr

ffr is basically a trap that impedes improvement in so many ways

also, i'd say keyboards aren't such a huge deal on FFR, you just want something that's reliable, durable, and that requires very little force to actuate in order to preserve stamina, although stamina isn't very often an issue on ffr. so it makes sense that people can do just fine with bulky keyboards unless you're d5+ maybe d6+. a flat keyboard like logitech illuminated is fine. won't be as good for sm, though.
