Yeah i just steamrolled half of hell a3 and picked up about 200k in a little over an hour. not bad. I need to start picking up all resistance and regen and my build will be good as long as i have nice crits and enough damage to kill fast enemies fairly quick

Oh dont worry, when you hit level 60 gold will be easy. What act have you made it to? a3 and 4 drop way more gold than 1 and 2 in any difficulty, obvo, but on top of that level 60 players get something called nephalem valor (it acts as a buff) which lasts for 30 minutes and activates/resets time when you kill a magic or rare pack of elites, and it can stack up to 5 times, which increases your gold and magic find by 15% for each NV, for a total of 75%. It resets when you exit gameplay or change your skillset at all.

Ontop of this i have gear that does ~225% extra gold find without NV.

Progression ends and money making begins. All gold I make will now be pure revenue (except for the MF gear I bought that isn't that great anyways) and I'm on a mission to get at least $60 out of farming.

Good res all (10 off perfect)
Perfect MF
Very high crit (max is 10%)

In my opinion not worth 17 million. If the primary stat roll was higher, if the res all was perfect, if the crit was perfect, any one of these things... maybe.
But I bet you can find a 18 or 19 MF gloves with better DPS stats and okay resistances for far less. Either that or gold has inflated even more since I stopped playing lol (I thought the RMAH would kinda slow that)

Regen is kinda fun but it has its limits- I'd focus first on armor really. People tend to under-price +armor pieces, so usually armor is better for your value than res all pieces.
500 with galvanized ward is like... regen on one piece lol. You won't even notice it until you get up to around 800 without galvanized ward.
If you are gearing for regen, start with your chest piece. Regen on chest goes up to 599, much higher than the 342 max roll on other slots (amulet also goes up to 599 but go for DPS stats on amulet.) The other important place to look for is your pants. Pants don't have any dps stats to speak of, their only high roll is vitality, so it's a good place to pick up your health regen early on. Don't bother looking for health regen on pieces with other more important stats like rings, amulet, gloves, and shield/offhand.

Yeah, I picked up some new gear for around 300k and it's serving very well. didnt buy pants or chest to boost regen yet, which i know will help pass up 500 easy. Even so, the 500 regen is really helping out already, because of the build i have which has a good chance to save me. Overall, though, i boosted my resistances and it helped a ton. i dropped my vitality quite a bit, sadly, but i stay alive way longer than when i did when i had 10k more hp. I also havent been looking for regen and stuff on those pieces you mentioned because, in general, the rolls suck on them for regen. I need to invest in just a few more pieces to boost crit damage, all resist a bit more, and serious regen right now. Thanks for the tips though, theyre already helping

If you're using a Force Armor kite build like I do, you actually don't want much vitality. Calculate your effective health pool such that each hit from a mob in whatever act you are farming is 35% of your life, then don't get any more health. Because Force Armor is a percentage-based skill whereas life regen is a set number, more health means your life regen ticks you to full slower. You want *just enough* to make Force Armor work.

EDIT- ofc if you are using something like a prismatic armor build, I can't really help you. I've used force armor pretty much exclusively in my time playing this game, it's just too good :P

Look for 17-19 MF pieces instead of going for perfect rolls. WAY cheaper when you are just starting farming, you can get your "perfect" battlefind gear later.
When I am farming I actually only swap out 3 pieces, but those 3 pieces give me more than 100 extra MF so it's still effective. I used to have a near-perfect MF set but I sold the worst pieces because I was rarely using them anyway. The DPS loss was too great and I was too lazy to switch at the last moment lol

Lack of armors is unfortunate but other than that looks great imo

It's worth a lot. By a lot, I mean there's only 7 pairs of shoulders on the AH with stats >= your shoulders and people are asking ridiculous prices.
