Alright, it's about time we start talking about this.

LD wants to do a Michigan meetup, so why not a California Gettogether for us west coasters?

It has been talked among several FFR'ers of a meet up in California. Why California? Because Ontario Mall is the 2nd largest mall in the US and there are A LOT of people that could probably go and hangout at the gameworks there, and go see a movie, play DDR, yadda yadda...

We need to start figuring out who would go to this, how many people we would get, where we would stay, and what arcades we would actually go to.

As I am talking to Jewpin, one of the best places that came to mind was Ontario because it is so close to everywhere in South Cali.

I don't know if we really need any hotel info or where people would stay, because I would imagine this would be just a weekend get-together that would be pretty simple to do...

Maybe someone in the area can get some pics of Ontario Mall in Ontario, CA so we can show off how huge it is, and what there is there.

So, I guess we need to start off by finding out who is interested? Only say if you really thing you will be able to go. Don't just say you would go to bandwagon. Also, post where you live, and we can see if this thing has a chance of happening.

Personally... I live in Boise, ID, BUT, every summer I go to Cali to live with my dad for a while, and this summer it would be really cool if more than just Jewpin and I hung out... Know what I mean? Hanyways... POST...

The list has been updated a bit thanks to Jewpin, and I'll just put it here... This is still a VERY not-near-final list, but this is a closer look at who will be attending...

Here is a little list of people that MIGHT be going... This list is nowhere near final, but these are the people that live in the west coast, and actually have a slight chance of going... Even if we lose a couple people from this list, it still looks pretty friggin' awesome to me!

As for the meetup, there's almost no way I could make it to California.

I live in Palm Springs (well, near it at least). There really isnt anything to do here and it is usually hot as hell in the summer, so it wouldnt be a good meet up place.

Ontario Mills is about an hour and a half from where I live. I know Cenright lives fairly close too.

The only thing is I leave for Japan in the 7th of July and I will be there almost until the beginning of August.

Aerogroove lives in Garden Grove (right near disneyland), and NightSonnett comes to LA a lot, too. Probably could drag her down from Oregon for it (and then persuade her to drive..so I wouldn't have to..hahaha). Ragestar lives in Fresno, but I don't know if either really read the boards at all so I don't know if you know them. (they hang out in chat a lot) Whorli's family is out here(i think), but Mike is going to be all bitch and probably stay on the East coast..

All of Southern California is hot as hell in the summer Jewp. The average temperature where i live around that time is 100 degrees, + - 5-10.

I live in Chatsworth, which is part of the San Fernando Valley, about 25 minutes outside of downtown, btw. 15 minutes from UCLA, if that helps ground it.

I say New York for next year. Not too hot, probably has some good arcades. Though, it's pretty far away from those south east coasters.

Guys Ontario could be perfect for me. Its around 40 min. Although I can't stay the night because my mom would be like wtfwtfwtfwtf Internet people omg. She can probably just drive me and be there with me cause thats how she is so don't freak please >_>.

AI is ok, very small. I would like an after gathering at my house but that would only happen if we go and I suddenly ask while I am there. She would understand it isnt just some stalker people and she would say ok. So its a 50/50 shot at my house.
