Default NEXT GAME AFTER DDR EXTREME???

I want to know if someone out there...mah friends...knows any news about the next DDR version after DDR EXTREME? Or is it the end of the series for this game and all we have to do is to wait for the DDR EXTREME for PS2 to come out in the market, and after that, I just might feel

Show me anywhere where Konami states EX is the last arcade DDR ever. That's what I thought. Stupid fuckers have been saying "this is the last DDR OMFG I am going to kill myself!!!" since 5th Mix and we're up to...yeah, 8th. Konami will announce the end when they are ready to hang it up. You'll just have to wait.

But this question still rings in my head...Uh...Why did it not take KONAMI so much time to develop DDRMAX to DDR EXTREME..? I mean, DDRMAX, MAX2, & EX was released approximately on months of last year right? It is now August 2003 and no news about any new developments???

I'm worried...

That is how they get money. They make you worried, release a good sized version, and make the machine more expensive to buy....and all the arcades and huge DDR fans are like OMFG LOL WTF, and buy like 20 of them.

Thus Konami makes a fuckton of money.

actually, they are going through again and making all the ddr versions into solo one player machines where the arrows flow up the center and it has much more flashy backgrounds (i wonder if anyone has ever gotten a seizure at a ddr machine?)

Yes, thank you. Don't be asking about the next DDR when there are like 8 mixes out there that totals up to like...500 songs or something. Be happy and play Heavy.

But for people like me that can do just about every song on extreme, we like to know if there are going to be any more "boss" songs. max 300, max unlimited, etc. I love that feeling when i beat a new super hard song. DDR is almost getting boring sometimes, okay that was dumb, i had to say it, but still. DDR is easy for me now except for playing on double with songs like rythem and police. Konami is making me worried that i wont have any more fun with arcade games.

The game they're talking about is Extreme for PS2, not 9th mix...

Either that or they're joking, I used to have a subscription to GI (I cancelled it the day I saw them give MGS2 the best game of the year award) and they would post up stupid stuff all the time just to screw around with thier readers =p

I really don't think we should freak out when DDR ends. The game has so many songs that it won't get old. DDR, I feel, has the greatest replay value of any game EVER! You'll always come back because you can't ever truly say goodbye. Whether we never see a DDR again, or if there are 20 more to come, we'll always play.
