I just played Strawberry Sweets

First song in the 300~ straight songs I've played to make me take a break due to exhaustion. <_<

Nice full combos.

I'm going for the 50% token at the moment. :V A little over halfway there...

Finished my goal of all songs <10,000 rank. Time to aim for 5,000 >: o

Yeah the song is extremely long and its kills your hands >.<

PS. Good luck with the 50%, look for short songs and you will get it in no time

But that's cheating. <3 I'm going to be doing what I've been doing for the past 170 FC's I've gotten.

Go to levelrank, scroll down - and do the song on the bottom of the list. Repeat into infinity. Skip over songs 11-13 because no way in hell I'll FC those. Try the 8-10's but if I mess up by more than 2 misses give up. If I mess up an easier song that's long - skip it too because I'm impatient and can always go back.

Now I'm wondering if I should make myself a custom profile design... I'm making a friend a custom stick cover design so why not make myself something after? But what to make....

Sorry... going off topic. Here's a recent score. Gives a good idea of my skill level. I'd also like to note that this 9 was harder than most 10's.... -_-

I'm glad I managed to sightread this. If I messed up it'd have never been done.. why are level 2 songs like 2:30 and a ton of level 5-6's that are 1 minute? T_T

I don't have an FFR offline engine and I'm gonna save you the trouble, yeah I DS the left arrow >.> I could probably vibrate the whole trill without any kind of DS but I don't wanna play the song over and over again until I get it right. The song is boring as hell and the trill is almost at the end.

So you have like 35 left.

/assuming the 796 or whatever are all public songs. I just took that and multiplied it by 0.99 and rounded.

Why do people cheat? If you could probably vibrate it, why did you cheat to get the FC? It's totally lame how there are people who are AAAing FMOs who can't FC that song, and then someone uses a double setup and bumps the other person's rank up even higher.

What about the top players who are using overlay setup to SDG or near AAA? Thats basically DS'ing.

Cause I hate playing the same song over and over again to much. Also its not like I suck at the game and cheated to get a good rank, actually if I din't use DS I could have probably gotten a better score >.>.

Overlay isn't using 2 key setups, why shouldn't it be legal? It's just as illegal as switching from spread to index in the middle of a song.

overlay style for crowdpleaser trill is where you alternate fingers to hit the trill, but on only one set of buttons instead of using two sets of buttons

Does DS mean that there are two keys being pressed to trigger the same arrow? That would seem like cheating to me for that godawful trill.

Switching playing styles is illegal? What? That basically would imply that your fingers have to be stuck in the same position for the whole song, which is silly.

As long as you aren't using multiple keys for one arrow, it should be fine.

I just dont approve of overlay. Technically its legal since you are only using one setup, but you are still cheating the pattern. If the pattern(like the CP trill) is intended for two fingers, using four to hit it just to make it easier for you is cheating the pattern. It would be like if a song had a long one arrowed jack in it for like 5 secs, sure you are on one setup and can use two fingers to hit that jack, but you are defeating the purpose of it being a jack now and making it a trill. Thats just my thoughts on it, surely not everyone will agree with it, but those are my standards I'll go by, either hit the trill by trilling/vibrating or you're cheating it.

And then there's the issue of detecting the differences between such a setup. While with DS the amount of boos can be a possible indicator, could we differentiate with the overlay method?

I said it's just as illegal as overlay setup. Overlay setup isn't illegal, therefore switching play styles isn't illegal. You misunderstood.

When I vibrate that trill, I'll usually do quads since I don't want to miss the jump at the end, thus resulting in a ton of boos, so one can't assume DS by boo count.
