My favorite things from the pack though are probably the new rating system (which is so signature btw, I can't explain how), and the graphics. They are both things worth to follow in the long run. The steps are great also, so nonetheless, this pack is excellent.

I personally don't like the ratings because it's harder to tell the difficulty based on older ratings. I felt like all the songs are passable pretty easily. Music selection I thought could be more versitile, too much VG-sounding/8-bit/para songs and Ihad hoped for greater variety
Regardless it's still a good opportunity to get better again. Idk maybe I'm just starting to dislike the cluster**** that is ffr/sm because I enjoy concentrating on ONE GENERAL RHYTHM. just me?

EDIT: Graphics don't usually mean jack to me since I'm playing with the bg blacked out and I thought some of the steps were a bit redundant or reminiscent of some older files.

Absolutely in love with this pack, excellent job everyone! I have a quick question though, where do you find these types of songs to step? I know most are from games like IIDX, O2, DJMAX, Touhou, but where do you find the other songs that have no relation to rhythm games whatsoever?

P.S. Great song selection. One of the best IMO.

unfortunately most music that anyone finds steppable today and with pretty good reason is vgmusic and recycled songs from other rhythm games. theres just not enough other steppable music so when someone comes across something great thats not music game affiliated like Virt, it gets stepped to hell and becomes a Stepmania Cliche

2 of them are iidx songs kles sent me ages ago
1 of them is an iidx song I restepped because I disliked reach's chart for it
1 of them is an iidx song stepped because no one else had for keyboard (I swear I didn't see it was in iidx until afterwards)
1 of them is a dj max song
1 of them is a song I restepped because I disliked macgravel's/hayden's chart for it

and out of the ones that got rejected:

Unfortunately, the file would probably not get accepted into a pack if it was stepped for one handers. I could be wrong though.


Kommisar, I'm glad you stepped What U Need. I like that song, and I was thinking of stepping it myself along with a couple of other sonic rush songs but yours probably would be a better file than mine if I stepped it.

obvious reason; people don't unconsciously know what patterns are easier to index/onehand than others the instant it involves jumps
