Just experimenting with 3d photo manipulation. Made in 3ds max 7 and Photoshop CS.
Eventually I'd like to do my whole car, but it's time consuming, and I need to fix my camera. I want to try and fiberglass a hood like this in real life, it would be pretty bad ass. Original: ![]() Mesh: ![]() ![]() Final: ![]() Last edited by darkshark; 02-5-2009 at 09:09 AM.. |

It is a pretty sick design but I don't like the 'kink' at the hood/car border at the front of the car.
P.S. Freud would be proud.

![]() Also is it my imagination or is there a smooth transition at the border? Or are you also going to design a bumper? You should, with a sick spoiler. Also, personally, since I owned a 4-4-2 back in the day, I've always loved the double scoop kind, whatever they're called. In case you don't know what type of car I'm talking about, this is what it kind of looked like (I'm not sure how well known they are really): ![]()

I'll be designing a body kit for sure, but I really like my spoiler, I wouldn't change that at all.
Maybe a widebody kit, iono, lots of things that could look good on it. And yes there is a smooth transition at the border, but I also designed the hood around the massive turbo I'm about the drop in it, http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...d.php?t=106094 so the hood needed to be brought up a bit to make room. ![]() ps. YES Cutlass 442's look pretty freakin good, twin scoops always look beasty on muscle type cars. Last edited by darkshark; 02-5-2009 at 09:55 AM.. |
