Consider starting.

And Gano is right. There's a towel trick that you can use to temporarily revive your 360...sometimes. It's sketchy at best, and really the best solution is to just have Microsoft fix it for you. They even pay for shipping now.

WTF did you just say? You type like you got a **** load of peanut butter on the roof of your mouth. Anyways I bought a ps3 yesterday along with MGS4 and SC4. The free online topped with the wireless already in the system is great. The only thing I will probably be buying for my 360 in the coming months is Gears of war 2, and Halo Wars. I also heard Final Fantasy 13 will be going to the 360. I don't know if it will be on the 360 alone or both systems so if someone could please help verify it would help. Personally if square enix sinks so low to put it on the 360 its a damn shame. I mean come on its been a Sony Exclusive for what a little over 10 years. It's been one of the company's best sellers by far in the Rpg field. Personally blue dragon was very fun and I invested a little over 50 hours of game play. But the day Final Fantasy doesn't come out for the ps3 anymore is the last day I ever buy a product from Square Enix again.

Clive Barker's Jericho is a joke.

download the demo and watch the video. I can usually make it to "SHE WAS BORN AT A SNAKE HANDLING CHRISTIAN SECT IN THE HILLS OF TENNESSEE" before I lose it and break down to tears of laughter.

Don't blame Square-Enix. Blame Sony.

They didn't pony up the cash, and Microsoft was more than willing to do so.

Notice how Microsoft is getting a whole bunch of RPGs? You think these developers want to develop for the last-place-by-a-lot console in Japan? No. Microsoft pays them money to get their games onto its console and keep them off of other consoles. In Square's case, they bought their way into moving FF13 onto their platform to boost sales in Japan.

It's not like Square is selling out here. They sell out by putting out terrible games and re-releases every year.

Also I find you kids hilarious. Metal Gear was a Nintendo franchise, but it jumped ship to the Playstation. Final Fantasy was a Nintendo franchise, but it jumped ship to the Playstation. It's not like they're loyal to a brand. They just work with whatever makes them more money. Playstation far outclassed the SNES and the N64's sales numbers were pretty bad, so it was the obvious choice for a new game. You knew that FF7 was supposed to be an N64 game, right? What would you be saying right now if it was supposed to be a Wii-only game and they added it to the 360 lineup?

I'd be outraged unless the game got a huge graphic overhaul.

Boo, Wii. Boo.

See, some game developers (like the JERKS at Namco-Bandai) re-release games onto other systems for Japan only and make huge improvements both graphically and gameplay-wise.

I understand hating them, except the difference is they make good games.

So today I found out my 360 had a bunch of game demos on it. I still haven't even gotten on Live yet.

Had no idea I had these things though.

Tried Geometry Wars after all the good news I'd heard. My right thumb is **** for that, sorry. Was kind of annoying.

Also heard things about Lumines but never played it. Gave it a try. Also pretty annoying.

Yeah I know I just didn't bother posting about Final Fantasy. The SNES among other things was like 15 years ago. But yes even so back then nintendo wasn't focused around kids. Basically today nintendo has fallen from there once former glory. I've failed to play the first 2 mgs games. But have played the entire Series 1 through 4, and every game leaves you in suspense. I mean come on who wasn't shocked when you found out Big Boss was alive. Either way I could care less what system it comes out for as long as the game still has that final fantasy feeling. For those who have played them you know what I'm talking about when Someone dies like Aeris. I actually cried when this happened. Final fantasy has that true feel to the storyline and turn based battle system. The only final fantasy game I had trouble with was 11 I play warcraft alot and mostly do PVP and FF11 is nothing compared to warcraft it just sucks.

You turned the console horizontal/vertical from vertical/horizontal while playing the game.

Rookie mistake.

Me.

I never played any Metal Gear Solid games. They look boring. I hate having to hide in unique ways to get to my objectives. I'd rather just mow down all of my enemies.

A lot of RPGs do this you know. And they do it a lot better than this.

I highly disagree but you're entitled to your own opinions.

Anyway. You need to play Tales of the Abyss.

Do it.

Now.

If you're a fan of characters you've grown to love and related to in unimaginable ways suddenly die a horribly sad death, then you'll love Tales of the Abyss. If I'm counting, I think about 20 important, voiced characters end up dying in Tales of the Abyss. If I'm keeping track of actual deaths, I think we're at about 500,000 dead people in the game. At least.

The funny thing is it's not a dark game. Not at all. It's just phenomenal.

That's the only way those happen, not necessarily turning it all the way but bumping it in any way can offset the disc and just grind it the **** up.

Best way to avoid it is NEVER have the console vertical.

I didn't even bump it or touch it. I just had it vertically set down below the TV. It started making weird noises, and when I checked, the disc was sliced.

I am probably gonna go try to get it swapped for a working copy of SC4. I'm going to play horizontally from now on. Stupid.
