There's such a thing as being slow, but damn...I must have reached super saiyan hermit level. Because I didn't realise until now that my Insaner file actually got into this pack. XD

Also, shame on the organisers of the pack for keeping it in there. It was crap and you all knew it.

Fine, then I'll do one.

These were all played on Resonance, so I'm not going to bitch about sync issues.

Drop- Nice file. A little broken flow at times, but still great. 8/10

Sepia- Beautiful. Better than Reach's for sure. Behanjc, you made one helluva file. 8.5/10 for some overlapping patterns.

Dry Martini- Cool file. Keyboard can’t handle Resonance hands though, so I failed. 8/10

Analogyst- Masterful and fun. 9.5/10

Fall- My file. It’s pretty cool, I guess, with some awesome BG changes. 7/10 because like Stargroup said, it’s not PR.

Procrastination on a Paper- My file. I’ll rate this later. No, just kidding. I like this file, but it has some jump issues. I’ll fix that in v2 if I decide to make one. 7.5/10, I guess.

Sigh. Dumb**** computer.

Here's my review for dis pack :

BBLLAASSTT!!: yeh played this xmod. mine placement was decent; xmod was ok but overall kinda boring file. The speedups went to nothing. 6/10

Chaos: Patashu already stepped a good file of this kthx patashu/10

Go Beyond!!: i played a good file of this also. i guess for pad it's pretty good, but for keyboard maybe not. 4/10 keyboard, 8/10 pad

Rottel-da-station: I liked this alot. Some parts were weird, but that's ok. xmod fit. 8/10

True Love: Freezes weren't necessary, and the mines could have been placed in better places. Decent, but repetitive. 6/10

Toy Stage: Fun imo. Seemed alright. 8/10

Stop & Go!: The 2,000 bpm change was unnecessary. It should have doubled, tripled at most. It just didn't make any sense. It was alright too. Mine placement was good. 7/10

Parade of the Wooden Soldiers: What. The song was annoying, but the steps fit the music, I guess. The 24th jacks and left trills were extremely gay. 7.5/10

moar reviews later.

EDIT: nevermind no more reviews because i dont really feel like playing anything from this pack anymore. XD

2152 to be precise, but neither is the 1300 BPM change in Dance Anarchy's STRANGEPRORAM under that same logic.

he means that a proficient step artist already made a really good chart to it, therefore making other charts to it is useless

{Blaze} probably doesnt even have a good chart for it.

and A, well A is just.. crap

Just by listening to the music, I think Fireworks could have used some bpm changes.

Oh yeah, I forgot I stepped A rofl. I couldn't remember anyone who made a good file for {Blaze} though. I thought ddrace or someone did, but I can't find the file right now.

Flame warz, but I guess every pack gets that.

I never played that file, but most BPM changes over 1,000 usually don't go with the music, unless it's used for syncing or something.

Chaos: It was missing jumps some places and some 16ths, but it was alright. 8/10

brb, stealing idea... Generally I work like this:
0-1.5 - Horrible file. Probably completely offbeat and a total dump.
2-3.5 - Not very good. The steps aren't completely horrible and offbeat, but I can't see myself playing this.
4-5.5 - A file that is at least playable. I would probably keep this around, and maybe play it when I'm bored or if the music is cool.
6-7.5 - A file that I find to be enjoyable. It's not amazing, but I can see myself playing this some.
8/10-9.5/10 - A really fun file. I really like it, and I'll definitely be playing this.
10/10 - An outstanding file. The best of the best.

Here are my very-non-strict-and-short reviews.

{Losing Touch} - Really generic. Stepped accurately, but still pretty boring. 6.5/10

5.1.1. - I didn't like some of the freezes. You should be a little more conservative with them. Otherwise, I don't have much other issues with this, but it's nothing great. 5.5./10

6 - Heavy is really boring, but Challenge is a little better. Nothing amazing, but it's alright. 5/10

Analogyst - One of the best files in here. 9.5/10

Aurora - I was surprised what you did with this seeing as the song ain't so great. I really liked this, to be honest. 8/10

BBLLAASSTT!! - Xmod plz.

Chaos - Obviously Patashu's is better, but this is fun to play with a Xmod. 6/10

Children's Sketchbook - I still don't see anything wrong with this file. I love it. 9/10

Dark Demon's Song - Parts of this were alright, but other parts were a complete mess. To many holds, and a few wacky tempo changes. You could have also stepped it way harder. Even if it's not very good, I still like it for some reason 0_o 5/10

Darkmoon Rave - Generic as **** techno song. Generally repetitive, but at least it's not the very same pattern over and over. Bad text in graphics, lol. 4.5/10

Donkey Punch - Pretty cool Xmod file, with not so amazing steps. 6/10

Drop - Simple and fun, I love this file. To bad the graphics suck... 8/10

Dry Martini - It doesn't suck, wow.

Ergonomic - Pretty simple file. Nothing amazing, but I don't believe I actually have any playable In Flames files, so this was welcome. 6/10

Fall - Heavy is good for index, and Challenge is generally dumpy with errors. 5.5/10

Field of Dreams - Accurate, but boring. 7/10

Fireworks - Hey, I meant to step this simple.

Go Beyond!! - I only kept this for the heck of it. For indexers and pad maybe, but nothing special at all here. Note that when this was accepted Patahu's was the only file for this. 3.5/10

Heart of the Rainbow - Partially geared towards index. I actually think the graphics are good for this :<

Horobita Star - Hard as **** file. Heavy isn't anything special either, but I guess this is good for scoring. 5.5/10

In The Ruins - An old style, simple file. These are exactly the type of files I love, and wish more were made of. Some of the jacks aren't exactly accurate, but whatever. 7/10

Insaner - I can't really remember this. I think it was okay, but nothing great. 5.5/10

Junkman Stage - It's not bad.

Konamized - Sorry, I totally love dis file. Nothing negative to say over here. 8.5/10

Last Boss Battle Theme #infinity - This isn't bad, but I think the patterns are obnoxious.

Level 1-1 - I dunno, this is kinda fun. Probably indexable, except for those hands you put at the end. 6/10

Mad Mechanism - Accepted at the last minute. Some of the patterns really threw me off, but it was enjoyable. 6.5/10

Monolith - Probably your best submission. More pitch relevancy would have made it significantly better, however. 6/10

Moonlight - You missed a few jumps... Pretty cool. I would play this to practice rolls and jacks. 7/10

Parade of the Wooden Soldiers - Solid file right here. Challenge is pretty gay with all the jacks, but it follows. Heavy is fun if you're less skilled. I wish I spent more then 10 minutes on the graphics for this. They're awful, I should try making different ones. Don't kill me, star, srsly 8.5/10

Procrastination on a Paper - Eh, there are a lot of errors and inconsistencies in this. It's not bad to play, but it could be made better. 5.5/10

Pump Me Amadeus - Enjoyable, but that might be because I helped you with this, lol. It started to fall apart near the end though. 6/10

Rapid Stream - Whoa, this file is awesome. Way to go Kommi. 9/10

Return to the Road We Came - Old and dumpy ****.

Revonulet - It's synced fairly well, at least.

Rocket Flight - Nothing to complain about with this file, really. 7.5/10

Rottel-da-Station - Who are you? Make more files. 8.5/10

Sepia - Over usage of holds, imo. I liked it otherwise. 7.5/10

Set the World on Fire - Pretty cool, I think. GLOVE SHOULD STEP A SYMPHONY X SONG!

Something Terrible - It's alright, but it didn't really click for me. The tempo changes are pretty stupid, imo. 5/10

Starwolf - Heavy isn't so great, oops. Challenge is better. I would play this for scoring. 6.5/10

STOP & Go! - I actually haven't played this Xmod, I might appreciate it more. Otherwise, it was okay, but there are some errors. 5.5/10 (Maybe 6.5/10 on Xmod)

Swallowing an Avalanche - To repetitive. It kills the file, despite the song being badass. 4.5/10

Titan - Way to easy. I would generally quit in the middle where there is nothing happening. 4/10

Title Screen - Eh, it's not bad. I kind of like its simplicity. I should go for the SDP! Has completely generic graphics... 5.5/10

Toy Stage - I like this. To bad it's short, and just a copy/paste on the loop. 6.5/10

True Love - Ewww at the hold usage. Good index file, for sure. 5.5/10

U Inside My Dim Memery - I don't remember this clearly. I think it was kind of cool, but not awesome. Certainly not one of your better files. 6/10

Un Deux Trois - I like this a lot because it's generally simple, yet entertaining at the same time. 7.5/10

Wizard Stage - This would be good for index if it wasn't for the stream patterns. Not that good, sorry. The text in the graphics certainly sucks. 4.5/10

I'm thinking whether to download this or not...

EDIT: Especially because I have all the decent files from this pack so whatever... If they're like pad files I'm not interested.

Good work nonetheless Sulfer, it's nice to see other people besides me, glove and kommisar release a pack rofl.

Default Re: Keyboard Ultimix Released!

The review of da pack.

First impressions-
Wow a lot of files I see in here, I've already played through and said no to in the rfpack

-------------------
5.1.1Prozack Mix - Kairon
Indexable and kinda fun in some parts, but was pretty generic and simple. The song was probably to blame though since it sounded like ass and made me depressed. (Doesn't even sound like 5.1.1 wtf?)
5/10

6 (D-Vor) - egm09
Seemed like an okay file. Quit half way through the heavy because of the song. I didn't play the oni because I figured it would be the same thing but with probably more 16ths and jumps, maybe some hands layered in.
6/10

Analogyst - Stargroup100
Really boring, sorry. (Even the sample music made me want to sleep.)
2/10

Aurora - Kommisar
I could have done what you did with this song in 10 minutes. Making it interesting would have made it a cooler file though.
6/10

BBLLAASSTT!! - Sulferdragon
Quit halfway through because I was bored with the song. I really don't mean to sound elitist or anything but the song choice so far has just been really bad and unappealing to me. Files might have been decent but whether or not they're actually good, I can't tell. The songs have all just been really bad so far. Mehhhhh.
6/10 + 1 for effort.

Chaos - Zero
Funnest file in the pack so far. Managed to play all the way through, though I felt like quitting a couple times here and there because it was really easy and simple, with some awkward patterns though. bpm tricks were a nice touch though.
7.2/10

Children's Sketchbook - Jimerax
Prolly the best file in the pack so far rofl. Could still use a lot of polishing though imho. Quit halfway through because the song annoyed me too. :/
7.5/10

Dark Demon's Song - Kairon
lol
3/10

Darkmoon Rave - I couldn't read the cdtitle over the hideously blue banner
I thought my speakers were broken when I was pressing arrows to almost nothing. The file is just nothing really splendid or spectacular, can't really say it's bad either though.
5/10

Donkey Punch - Zero

Amusing and fun file, the jump jacks were inappropriate though and some were incorrect.
6.8/10

Drop - Kommisar
Decent. It was actually pretty cool in some parts but like aurora there are some things you could have done to make the file play and flow cooler. Otherwise I'm giving it the same grade I gave aurora +2
8/10

Dry Martini - Sulferdragon

See analogyst, except I actually made an effort to play through it but quit halfway anyways.
Whatever I gave analogyst/10 +1

Ergonomic - Kommisar
Nothing spectacular. The song really sucked though imho Jacks were gay.
7/10

Fall - Moches/Sulferdragon
Do I Really Have To Play This. Tried the oni first, felt really bad and awkward, this is one of those weird cases where trying to be technical and accurate will actually make a bad file. The heavy was pretty fun even though there were some strange oddities here and there.
6.5/10

Field of Dreams - stargroup100
The way you handled the layering of the voices and stuff during the 8th note jumpstream was really weird and made me quite out of the file Everything else was okay though.
6/10

I'll do the rest later. Were I judging a pack, so far I'd probably accept 0 files though Zero is looking like the most promising step artist so far. Biggest issue I see, is song choice.
