overall rank wont lower

my overall rank at the top of the page says a lower number than on the acual profile.

why is this and when im in game every time i end a game my rank should deplete BUT it doesnt go down at all

why is this?

Yeah, the overall score reflects nothing but how much you play, it's not.......worth their time to fix it.

I'm having a similar issue. In-game, the overall rank shown at the bottom and the rank shown on my profile are lower (a higher number, therefore a lower rank) than what the stats in the top-right hand corner of the home page say. The other information seems to be correct (game plays, credits, etc), however. Both ranks seem to update normally when I play the game, but the one listed in the top-right corner of the home page is always higher.

Example: My profile says my overall rank right now is 2,930. The stats in the top-right corner say it's 2,892. It's not a big difference, but it's enough to confuse me. Now if I go play a game and increase my overall rank, both will update. I don't know if they'll update the same amount or different amounts, but they do update.

yep i have that same problem. My profile overall rank is a higher number than my rank on top of the page. Seems like a lot of ppl have this problem i thought it was just me :P

First of all, freakysnots already made a thread about this and named it, very appropriately, Overall Rank Bug. Had you looked, you may have seen this had already been addressed.

In any case, I wouldn't worry about it too much because I think your overall rank will lower, it will just never match the rank at the top of the page. And I have to assume the rank at the top of the page is BS anyway because a few people have reported it giving them a rank 1 up there.

If your rank actually ISN'T LOWERING, then sorry, I'm wrong, but I'd give it a few games, chances are you just actually haven't been going down in rank.

Quite frankly, the overall rank thing is ****ed up.

Mine's been going haywire. Its different at different computers (and not just from people overtaking me, i mean like in the 1000s), it doesn't match the one at the top, and it goes UP when I go and FC Less Talk More Rock.

I'm not worried though. Synth/JasonKey/LD/Guido will fix it. They're a good bunch.
