don't bring your books home, bring the covers to school. if you have homework in the book just copy down the problems. if you have reading then tough it up or find an online resource site. almost all books have one.

I carried everything in my bag even if I didn't need it. Just for the fact that it was pretty good weight training and kept me fit haha.

We're not allowed bookbags in school. We put them in our locker when we get there.

Freshman year wasn't too bad for myself, I was good friends with a lot of the juniors and seniors, so it worked out.

Senior year for me right now is tough. I have a full schedule all year long with 4 AP classes and 2 college classes, thrown in with the every weekend college visit and holding a job. Just hold in there, you'll be fine.

You guys need to lay off on the "Pfft that's nothing compared to MY worst day" bit. He said it was his worst day, not yours, its relative.

Lay off the kid. He obviously had what he considered a rough day. Yeah i know "betr post about it on ffr" etc, but I don't think that adding insult to what he considers injury is cool, and it just makes you look like an ass.

This would be directed at anyone who was suggested the same.

Useless **** like this should be kept to blogs, not forums.

FFR is not your blog. When you post topics, they're meant to generate discussion. Think about what replies you will get, and if they're all "shut up because nobody cares" you might stick to keeping it in your blog.

Honestly, I don't care if somebody had a bad day. If something extraordinary or particularly special to you happens, then post about it and generate discussion. Not "oh stuff happened and i'm sad".

I live in a small ass town of about 600 or so people, so pretty much everybody are friends in my school, hueg backpack, but I deal, going up 3 flights of steps is good training with that heavy piece.

There are 750 people in my class alone. 600 people in the town would be crazy. My school has around 1400 kids.

I agree with OrganisM. I've seen posts like these and they are useless and usually end up being spammed with more useless posts. Though Blazze's post, about his horrible week or two, awhile back was quite riveting.

In LaPorte, there is only one High School. Mine. Every kid once they pass Middle School goes there, unless they dropout. I'm a freshman, but I'm making the most of it. Not counting how I just moved here from Norfolk, VA, and I literally knew nobody the first week, but you know what I did? I talked to people. I've made friends with a lot of people, some freshman, some sophomores, and a couple of juniors. Life is good.
