I don't think it's really that great of an accomplishment. Becoming big in that industry is all about connections. You have connections, you have a shot. If your music is totally awesome, but you don't have connections, you're never going anywhere.

"cuz" isn't a word. "i" isn't a word. "lol" isn't a word. "wasnt" isn't a word. "since", "there", "just", "happy", "unnecessary", and "done" should all be capitalized. You will only be taken seriously if you can act older than you are. You seem 14 to me right now. Back to the topic... I actually liked "The Essential" when I had to play it for the league. I couldn't understand 75% of the lyrics, but the chorus was decent. Every other hip-hop song in the genre is total crap. ~Squeek |

... what?
you just proved me right. you said it wasnt needed. i said i already said that. ... then you point out WHERE i say it, and for some reason you go "word" on me and say i should act older? i'm 16, and i never said anything about being mature. you're kinda flyin off the handle here. |

You missed the part where I pointed out your spelling error. You said you had said something, but you spelled it wrong and thus never said it. Explaining takes so long these days...
To me you are 14. Don't try to act 16 now, you're 14. I don't care about your birth certificate, you are 14. If you spell right and use proper grammar, I may up your age. ~Squeek |

Well, I'm going to grade you on your spelling regardless of the classroom setting. You're failing my class and thus drop to age 14. Fourteen year olds are Freshman in High School. Freshman can't spell. You're 14.
Respect your elders and spell correctly. It isn't dependant on the time, place, or day. It's always. Nobody cares that this is a forum and not a classroom, you still type properly or you are 14. ~Squeek |

Critiquing someone's spelling ON A FORUM when they are already pretty coherent isn't that big of a deal and is just a failsafe when you don't have any other arguments.
Now, when they type ATROCIOUSLY it's different but I generally have no problem with Neo's posts. He doesn't use "u" or any other irritating slang form of slaughtering the english language, so at least be grateful for that. You're also associating his spelling with being a freshman, which is ridiculous. I'm a freshman (well, sophomore come August, but you get my point) and I find it moronic to relate bad spelling to a particular grade level which I just happen to be in. A lot of other people on these forums are in the same grade I am in, and don't have horrible spelling either. I could understand if you were talking about 13 year olds or under, as terrible grammar/spelling/syntax in general with them is commonplace, but seriously now. |

Whenever you use "i" instead of "I" it bothers me. I'm not singling you out. I used to bother evilbutterfly until I realized it was meaningless. You type better than he does, so I guess I should lay off.
But it still doesn't lower my opinion about people who don't take the time to hit shift for one letter. If you can't type fast enough to keep your speed with the shift button then you should either learn a different way to type (I did) or take it slower. Your pinky is essentially unused in any style of typing, so make it hit the shift key and enter key. ... I really can't contain one thought into one post. Once again: I'm not singling you out. You aren't the one who bothers me the most; the ones who say "wtf rofl u suk m8 olol" are the ones who need to be punished. BUT I am still the English teacher of the forums and plan to stay that way forever. Maybe someday I will actually get the official "FFR English Teacher" and go around correcting people's posts for them via "Post Edit". It's doubtful. And I apologize to Arch for dissing his grade level. Not all freshman are horrible typists, just the ignorant ones. I actually took keyboarding my freshman year and upped my WPM from 80 to 140. ~Squeek Ps - Dude doesn't Hip-Hop suck? |

Back on topic, people.
Me and Hip-Hop are on okay terms. It's not that bad, but I don't personally prefer it. |

I like how every debate turns into something petty and retarded like spelling.
Anyway, as a rule, everything > hip hop. Sexcopter is cool, but thats the exception. However, hip hop isn't as bad as the abyss of the next catagory, known only as Rap (aka stupid crappy lyrics sung to stupid crappy music). |
