I'm using a Dynex DX-MKB101. I hate it because no matter if I'm playing spread or arrow keys, the buttons stick down. (Sorry no pic avaliable...)

I use a Logitech G11, works really nice, looks really nice, but the only complaint I have is that it's gigantic, hard to get around lol.
Every key lights up so at night and you don't know where the keys are, just look down and the keys are lit up. Also, this kb was made for gaming purposes so it can withstand a ton of keypresses at once. The keys feel weird at first but after you get used to them, you can easily play ffr without any problems. The arrow keys feel weird also so I would only advise buying this unless you play spread. It's hard on index. ![]() ![]()

mines a Compaq KB-9965 ( no pic ) and it sucks, you have to actually hit a the keyboard really hard just to type in, playing FFR is the worst >.<

I really need a keyboard myself, does anyone know if the razer tarantula or the das keyboard is better for ffr and sm? You know of any better keyboards under the 100$ range? I've been looking for over a year for a good keyboard and it's really frustrating searching not knowing which ones are really better for this type of game so any input would be greatly appreciated. The logitech and dell keyboards look like rather cheap keyboards compared to these but if they're not then please tell me otherwise. FYI, I have a microsoft and a regular logitech elite keyboard and the both suck for speed and accuracy, almost makes me wanna quit it's so bad. Thanks.
Edit: Can the razer tarantula do extremely fast patterns accurately in SM (eg. 340 bpm 16ths?) Can the das? Last edited by Roy Campbell; 07-22-2007 at 08:21 PM.. |

Does anyone else have Razer Tarantula? I am thinking of getting it, but leery of dropping almost 80 bucks on kb. How hard is it to press the key compared to standard kb? any other feedback?
What I am worried about is. I know it has less travel time between key presses but what is the resistance like compared to say logitech elite? I definitely can tolerate logitech elites resistance but if its anything higher, it would be pretty bad. Last edited by Maid; 07-23-2007 at 12:50 PM.. |
